Dream

I dreamed a dream last night.

It was the most beautiful dream I have ever dreamed.

In the dream I dreamt of you.

I dreamt of love and happiness.

I dreamt of endless fun and carefree joy.

I dreamt of the past we've shared and our lives ahead.

I woke up content with thoughts of you,

I awoke longing to see your face.

I turned to tell you of this wonderful dream I had.

But you werent there.

My dream was just a dream.

And I am still without you.
