Love Expressed
‘A song is not a song until you sing it
A bell is not a bell until you ring it
Love wasn’t put in your heart to stay
Love isn’t love ‘til you give it away’
This old saying is very true
Love came to me right out of the blue
I was all alone on a mountain track
And God said to me that I would not lack
At first sight of her I had feelings to share
Her spell bounding laughter filled the air
Thoughts of love like falling leaves
Caressed me like an autumn breeze
She’s by my side now day and night
I love it that way. It feels just right
At peace when she’s in my arms
I’m captured by her special charms
I could go on for days, about how I feel
For expressing my love has made it real
To receive God’s love is to do our part
Then it boomerangs love to another’s heart.

| Out of curiosity my friend...what gives you such a great depiction of love? Obviously one can tell something makes you realize this emotion so well, and for others it's the hardest thing to understand. And unlike 90% of the songs that have been written in the past two decades, what you write is of true love, not the love for getting drunk, the love of having women all over you, not the love for substances. But a love a girl brings you, a love that is worthy of God. This is my comment for the both of them, I hope it finds you well. :) |
