i didnt think love was a simple thing...
but i didnt realize...
that loving u would be so hard...
u put a blindfold over my eyes...
said u loved me without meaning...
in my blindness i couldnt see...
that u could never really care for me...
u said nice things in my ear...
i took them in thinking u were crystal clear...
but now i find that i was truly blind...
i didnt think love was a simple thing...
and now ill kno forever more...
to never love without being completely sure...
u made me think i love u...
and now i kno the truth...
ur heart is stone...
and therefore u cant love as i can...
with a heart made of gold.

its a sweet poem......you might want to pick a rhyme flow that works for you.....this one kind of jumps but it a good poem anyway |
