Why Do I Have To Be So Scared,

Of Losing Everything We've Got.

We've Been Friends For Years And Years,

And I Know Better Then I've Been Taught.

For The First Time Since I've Known You,

I'm Getting A Feeling I Can't Explain.

I Want To Tell You How I Feel,

I Want To End This Secret Game.

I Know You Feel The Same Way Back,

You Told My Friend The Truth.

And I Wish You Would Open Your Eyes And See,

That Everything I Want Is You.

We Used To Hug And Laugh,

Like All Friends Do.

But Now Every Time You Touch Me,

I'm Feeling Something New.

I Get This Sick To My Stomach Feeling,

And My World Begins To Spin.

My Heart Starts Beating Faster Then Stops,

And Words I'd Like To Say Are Thrown In The Garbage Bin.

I Wish We Weren't So Scared To Lose What We've Got,

I'm Beginning To Get Frustrated.

I Want You To Know But On The Other Hand I Don't,

I Don't Get Why This Has To Be So Complicated.

i so know how you feel.i had a huge crush on this guy for like three grades in a row,and i thought he would realize it because he was one of mybest friends.we never ended up 2gether.maybe he knew and didnt care.this is an awesome poem

This is really good. It get's you really thinking about friends, well it gets me thinking about a friend. All poems are great when they can touch you emotionally. =DD

mattPATRICK i have been there no doubt, is good poem i could have used then, and when it comes to situations like these it's best to just lay all your cards upon the table and hope for the best, and pray that if the relationship doesn't work the friendship doesn't change, and while i know that isn't likely from my own relations, but if the friendship is strong before, then there should be no complications

seekerovtruth Have you spoke to this person about your feelings? Don't you just hate that he said/ she said game? That I heard it through the grapevine stuff can sometimes get a bit garbled in the translation. Straight from the horses mouth is always better imo,if you are prepared to not always hear want you want to hear. I'd throw my cards on the table and see what happens. It's better than the guessing game.
