The Ending Of A New Beginning

Before too much longer

I'll cry myself to sleep

I know I'll see it coming

But it will still cut me deep

We worked so hard

to keep doing it right

But we just won't keep going on

And we'll have to live our own lives

"This love was nothing but wasted time"

But neither of us will believe that

We'll both be happy we tried

Safe and close to my heart

New loves come and go
