living a life
of hurt and sorrow
hoping things will get better
with every tomorrow
i hear him screaming
and try to plug my ears
i try to hold them back
but still comes the tears
my heart is breaking
with every hurtful name said
sometimes the fighting
makes me want to be dead
i fall to my knees
and pray for it to be over
i can't remember the last day
my boyfriend was sober
of hurt and sorrow
hoping things will get better
with every tomorrow
