I Really Care

I have done something bad again,

I am not quite sure what I have done.

My mommy just started yelling at me

And then the pain had begun.

She started screaming in my face

and calling me very mean names.

She started hitting me very hard

And telling me I should be ashamed.

I told her that I loved her

But she doesn’t seem to understand

That I will to do so much for her love

And how hard I try to follow her commands.

I wish she would learn

That everyone makes mistakes.

I want her to know that when she yells at me

It really, really aches

Soon the pain on the outside will disappear

But the pain on the inside will always be there

So all I can really do is hope that one-day she will realize
