What is the meaning

Of something so overused?

People use it so unaware

That the origin is being abused

I have heard this word

On a thousand tongues

And years later I have heard

That word undone

Love means unconditional

Can never be broken and will never be stopped

You will be that persons everything

You will be that person’s rock!

You said you loved me…

I mean you told me every freaking day!

That’s not how you joke!

That’s not how you play!

For a while I prayed

That you would die a thousand deaths

And I hoped that after it blew over

My heart would have nothing left

But I am stronger than you

I know I’m better no matter what you say

And I hope one day that horrible emptiness

Might start to fade

Every time you see my name

I hope you cry

Every time you read something I wrote

I hope it kills you inside

Was it worth it tearing me apart?

I was already broken!!!

I only had pieces of a heart!

Tonight, when you come home

Sit in your room alone

Sit while I wait by the phone
