Closed Chapter
Over this long night
I’ve thought this poem out a thousand times
It’s had a million reasons
A hundred different rhymes
Who am I to speak?
When it was me in the wrong…
Who am I to beg for something the never belonged to me
And now it is gone?
My heart hurts….
But why?
My head aches and spins
My only emotion is to cry
Who’s going to watch me now?
Who’s going to wipe my tears?
Who’s going to turn the light on
And erase all my fears?
I can truly say
That right now I want to die
I wish I could give up
But the one thing you ever taught me was to try
So I close that chapter of my life
It was a long and meaningful one
I’ll just sit in my head
And ponder all the horrible things I have done

| This is pack full of emotion. I can realate to this. As Thug say it takes time. So let yourself heal as long as you need to. I had someone I love leave me before. (They came back but still.) Maybe you both need this time to think everything threw. I don't really know. Everything happens for a reason. As everyone knows "Your soulmate is right under your nose." So whatever happens happens. Just know you wont be in pain forever! :) |

| You've done those things so that you can remember to not do them again. We become strongest when we feel weakest. Just imagine how wise you will become from this chapter that you are closing. And as far as who is going to turn the light on, and erase your fears...YOU ARE! You need you, and the void where he once was should be thought of as a branch you left when you flew away to your new chapter. Easier said than done. But it is empowering to learn from the past and know more what you want for the next time. Fly on to better branches of your own choosing...hopefully you and I both will find the right one someday...and then we'll build our nests :D how cheesy! haha. |
