Save me from this darkness,

It's shutting out the light,

Strangling the life.

I'm trying to escape,

Crawl out of this putrid hell,

But the pain realization,

Keeps beating me down.

The sound,

Sweet and wholesome,

Quickly fading from my memory, so strained.

Like a song I used to love,

I sing the lyrics,

Knowing each word and pause.

The memories rush to me,

Flooding my mind with heartache and pain.

The numbness begins to wear thinner with each passing day,

The strength of these feelings, worsening, ripping me into shreds.

At one time,

I was strong enough to take it,

But not anymore

The stench of rotting death,

A frequent visitor to my breaths.

LOOK AT ME AT NOW.

The very threads of my being,

Unraveling at quicker pace than expected.

I fear I'm coming undone.

With suicidal memories, I start to lose the fight.

No longer, what i used to be,

No longer having the ability to hold my stance,

I take the plunge, head first, eyes closed.

I take the chance, knowing I'm alone.

There is no turning back,

I've burned all bridges, isolating myself.

I no longer deny what I know, what I feel.

So what if you can see the darkness inside me?

This nightmare, is meeting its end, it doesn't matter anymore.

You believe what you see,

But you never saw me.

The great wall is what you see.

Well, it's comin' down.

I'm going out with a bang,

It'll be the last thing I do.
