Our Sand Dollar |
Block Party (kid's poem)
There lives a monster on Mulberry Lane
He'll eat you up whole, and he'll eat you up plain.
No ketchup needed or pepper, please
He'll eat you all up, except for you knees.
There roams a ghost on Williamson Circle
Who'll scare you until your face turns purple.
He walks through the walls and yells out a boo
He flickers the lights and steals your lunch money, too.
There now lives a vampire on Anna Boulevard
He'll bite on your neck and leave it quite scarred.
You'll never once see him walk his dog at the park
A true insomniac, he's only out after dark.
Boy, my neighborhood is sure tough to beat
There's a monster that lives on every other street.
So if you're ready for sure thrills and a scream
We're having a block party here this Halloween.
All food's provided
