What I this pain that I have come to know
That burning slowly covers me with strife?
From where and why comes this burden of woe,
And how should woe consume al of my life?
Our love I thought would last for all of time
I never thought you would let go of me
But now I fall and you are left to climb
And blinded by my tears, I cannot see
My heart was shattered, left for none to find
And life was left to slowly fall undone
Love, I have found, is cruel and so unkind
I have not you, therefore I will have none
To love so is to fill the heart with doubt
If this be love then I should live without
