I sit here alone in an empty house

just trying to comprehend what i've lost

in my shaken hands I hold

our wedding day picture

such a beautiful memory

shattered just like my heart

forget your laugh

forget the way you used to hold me when I was upset

forget our first date

forget your caressing touch on my face when we layed down together every night

forget how you used to eat everything with a spoon

forget how you tried to change everything for the better even when there was nothing you could do

forget the life we used to have

forget it all

because now you are gone

living forever in peace among angels and our heavenly creator

such a blissful place

but for now I must move on

and even though in my heart I know you're happy wherever it is you are

my heart aches with the pain of losing you
