Who lived right down the street?
She went missing a few weeks ago
It was such a mystery
What happened to the little boy?
Whose mom lost him in the park?
He wandered off, he’s lost now
All alone in the dark
What happened to the young mother?
Who used to be so bright?
She turned to drugs and alcohol
She slit her wrist last night
What happened to that kid’s older brother?
The one we all used to love?
He killed so many innocent people
While in a gang…
While trying to prove he was a thug
What happened to the peaceful world?
The one we waved goodbye to long ago
The one where smiles never faded
The one we all used to know
