Dont you remember how it used to be
How it was always just you and me
How we would talk and laugh all the time
And how we thought everything was just fine
But then all of a sudden something changed
Everything got rearranged
We acted like everything was okay
At least thats what we would always say
But deep down we knew that it was not
And that someday we would get caught
Caught by the truth that we deep down knew
That we would never be one but always two
But i really do wish that you and me
Could somehow go back to how it used to be
