hopeless

am i the only one, the only one trying,

do you even care? or is this all just dying,

do i have a reason for all that do?,

or is it just me living in a world of my own dreams,

wishing its true when its all just a lie,

wishing its you, but your love will die,

all these worry’s they haunt me,

they haunt me to the bone,

rip me apart and then remind as i go,

but now ill forget this,

i must let this go,

its killing me inside,

but i wont let it show that now im not trying,

im done with this game,

ill let you show me this is real and not pretend,

i wont waist my time trying to help something that’s hopeless,

when it takes two to do this,

and you’ve dropped the other side,

well ill never forget this,

and im sorry i couldn’t be perfect,

but at least I can say i tried.
