God's newest Angels
I know that many of us don't take time to care what's happening in the real world, We can't see that this planet is headed straight to hell, If it don't involve us personally, then we think, "Oh well". But what happened in that Pa. town, now who can turn a blind eye? I consider myself tuff as nails, yet I couldn't help but to cry. Ten defenseless little girls, probably never ever seen a gun, They wasn't aware that there was any danger, They didn't know to run. Just simple Amish people, they knew no sin, they knew no evil, yet there he was an evil man living in their town. And now a simple one room school-house, thanks to evil, they've got to tear it down. When I heard the stories about the mothers and the fathers, The men they hand dug the graves, the mothers prepared the bodies of their daughters. It's times like these when we question the God, That we were raised to trust, 'Cause if it can happen to such God fearing people, Then surely it could happen to us. So when we send our little ones to school each day, No matter what we think, we've got to take time to pray. Because it doesn't matter they're not safe anywhere, Evil will always be lurking somewhere out there. I know that it's not our place to ask why, Five helpless little girls had to die? All that we can do is to surround our families with love, And never turn our backs on our God Up above. So maybe,(or maybe not) this event will change Us, But please give me a moment to list the names of God's newest angels. Anna, Marian, Naomi, Mary,(and her sister) Lena. Your simple lives were cut too short, Oct. 2nd 2006, at a quarter 'til 11, But you know that your families has already forgiven that evil man, that sent your young souls to heaven. |
