a prayer for Sierra

This poem is one from my sisters book. she wrote this poem for my niece when she was born.

Like an angel from heaven,

you came into our lives.

filling our hearts with

such joy and pride.

a gift from god

unlike any other

the very best part

of your father and mother.

one little life

so precious and pure.

our sweet angel, Sierra, 

whom we love and adore.

i wish you joy

throughout your life

may you never know loneliness 

struggle or strife

may you have all the best 

that life has to give.

surrounded by the love

of family and friends.

may all your hopes 

and dreams come true

may the good lord always

guide and protect you

should you ever need 

anything at all

you just give your

auntie Misty a call.
