My Wandering Mind...

As I lay my head softly and stretch out my limbs

My mind begins it's journey to a distant haze

Smokey fog surrounds me, warmth covers me like a blanket

I feel my mind dancing in the sunlight

Sweet music engulfs my being as I circle and sway

And through the blinding light a figure emerges

A flood of coyness runs over me and I hide to watch him

My eyes catch him drifting as I did

Tentatively moving towards the luscious streams

They pour out from the sky like tiny drops of glitter

I observe as he climbs under the torrent of water

Allowing it to wash over his whole being with sheer delight

A pang of desire to feel the stream overtakes me

Out from my hiding place I venture and tiptoe nearer

He turns with a gasp as he sees me approaching

I pause tentatively, but his eyes draw me closer

As the first drops of water touch my soft skin

My breath escapes me in sweet ecstasy

His eyes peer deep into my soul

Our minds begin to entwine

His hand reaches for me and I allow myself to move closer

Our wet skin touches and lightening forks strike my heart

His crimson lips press softly against mine

Hands darting over each other, the moment draws us in

Our passion overrides us as the water splashes down

The strength of his arms that envelop me causes my heart to race

The light flashes brightly in my eyes causing me to stagger

As I refocus I see the stream fading in the distance

The river turning to dust, my companion no where to be seen

As the blackness covers my sweet euphoria

I wonder if our minds will wander again
