Ever messed up, want to turn back time?

Ever felt that life had no reason or rhyme?

Ever kicked yourself for hurting someone dear?

Ever wished you'd not gotten so damn near?

Ever contemplated was this how it's meant to be?

Ever hoped your feelings they would finally see?

Ever throw caution to the wind and done something daft?

Ever thought you'd crack a rib from how hard you laughed?

Ever found someone to make your heart skip a beat?

Ever had a wound that cut you so deep?

Ever felt so crushed you thought your life would end?

Ever trodden paths not knowing where they wend?

Ever smiled from deep within and hoped they wouldn't notice?

Ever felt confused and totally unfocussed?

Ever opened up so much it made you feel afraid?

Ever had a dream, but watched it start to fade?

Ever sensed the future is more daunting than the past?

Ever wish the years wouldn't run away so fast?

Ever let the tears run freely on your face?

Ever felt a touch that made your heart quicken pace?

Ever took a gamble and prayed it would pay off?

Ever felt alone, happy, frightened or lost?

Ever been a kid again and splashed in a puddle?

Ever felt that life is one complicated muddle?
