My Poems
"eyes of a stranger"
I’m telling you, I’m desperate
If you don’t show, I don’t think I’ll make it
But the days just went by, until that moment,
I expected your face to gaze into my eyes,
But I lost my soul, my heart sank
When you weren’t there
I swear I lost the pursuit to be me again
I lost the point and reason to live underneath this skin
But now, my heart beats silent
And I’m lonely and waiting
For the next talking session
Where we try to make some new plans
Chorus-
It’s been so long since that day,
We spoke but never saw
We did way back then though
And all the times we missed
And now I’m deciding whether to rekindle,
Or take a chance and tell you how I really feel
None of us ever take the time call anymore
We’ve both decided to go and close the door
Watch me across the skyline
I’m leaning on the edge of a huge building,
Attempting at closing in on this waste of breathing
Cuz without you it just feels as if
I’m in a game playing and losing
All the rest of my life, will be a tease
When I saw you after that long long while,
I was looking into the eyes of a stranger
I swear,
This friendship will never die
So I guess I’ll stand here,
And wait for your disturbed voice
To say, where the fuck have you been all this time
So long, so long, I just can’t pretend, I just cant pretend (anymore)
