The war has come to an end
Look at how many have been shell shocked
And how many have bled
Look at how many were killed
This is not a game
Or a movie from which to be thrilled
This is real life
The stories that shock the younger generations
The stories that have shaped our nations
These are the veterans
And their lives really matter
They speak of a time so different from ours
They speak of a time we couldn't imagine
These are the veterans
Who built our world
When everything was better
Have they helped improve our world?
I guess so, but look how much some of them still hurt...
Respect those who fought it in World War II.
They were of a much younger age, many were younger than twenty-two.
