You’ve pulled the rug out from underneath my feet
I trusted you would be there to catch me as I fell
You were once my shield, my shelter
But now you’ve pushed me aside, letting my body become the target, taking your bullet
You never meant one word you spoke to me
They were merely memorized lines from a story book
Forever, Happily ever after; lies I used to believe
But they were only meant for princesses, the girls who wear the crown

This is my favourite of yours I really like it! But you know most girls are somebodys princess and those that aren't have simply lost something they can find again if they look deep within. All girls have an inner princess! |
