I went to see her on a tuesday
I left her crying in too the rain
I was trying to be brave
It was a matter of Honor
I was only doing the right thing
I often talked to her family
I always asked how she was
But it was not until a sunday
I had learned what I had done

I had went to see her mama
while she was out one day
I learn that it was not a baby
As we had all once thought
But it was something else
that had placed its roots inside

I 'd see her on wednesday evening
I'd tell her that I still love her
I'd ask her once more
to be my sweet sweet girl
But I never got that chance

Now I am outside looking in
I've seen the good times come
The soft smile on her face
That glimmer in her eyes
the way she looks so beautiful in love

I've seen that bad times too
Love that tore her heart
The devil in the darkness
the misery ,the pain

I've heard the prayers I felt the tears
What I would give to hold her
To tell her again that I love her
 that she has never been alone
that I have been here all along
               

It's outside looking in I have to stay
There are no words that I can speak
No way to let her know  I am here
I can only listen to her prayers
I can only feel her tears, her pain
As time passes I can only wait

I died on a wednesday morning
I left her crying into the wind
Although she can not see me
I've been with her ever since
Please tell her not to cry for me
I've carried the love in my heart
Please tell her I am angel who's
Watching over her.
