what you'll never know... you're dead to

You’re a ghost, a shadow without a form, a disembodied voice in my ear, a blind spot in my eye, you are my love lost and mourned for the rest of my life. Our paths never to cross again, from now until eternity; every tear drained from my eye and poured from my heart never to be heard, they are mute even to a fine ear. I long for your arms, and the taste of your lips, and the breath of which you breathe heaven upon me and life into my lungs. I long for the words that flow so majestically from your mouth which sing melody to my ears. Where did I not look for you? I’ve searched and searched in every nook and corner and in every spot, I can feel you, yet I can’t see you. My eyes are blind, my ears are deaf, and my calling is mute to your ears. Where are you my love? You’re dead to me, even in life. Your body may lay here on earth, but your heart lay rest with another soul. One that is not mine, though I wish it so that my body lay rest with you. I wish for a day to lay rest from dusk till dawn under the rays of the sun and blanketed by the stars of the night.  I wish for a lifetime long enough to contain our togetherness, but only death has arrived and has murdered what love had flourished and has cast thee into death’s shadow.

suby15 There is a lot going on in this poem. The only suggestion I can give is try and put this into stanza form. It will allow the immensity of the words to become less overbearing to the reader.
