Gasoline Paint

Views (176) Anger Created on 4-8-07 Flag

They call me things,

Like a pyromaniac,

Fire-Bug,

But I call myself an Artist,

My choice of paint,

Gasoline,

My canvas,

Anything that burns,

My brush,

A book of matches or a lighter,

Don't offend me,

Or you'll be my next Disaster-Piece,

 No one understands me,

I find the smell of soot,

And brimstone,

Soothing and calming,

Watching things burn,

Is great stress-relief.

Spellbinding Alluring title and descriptive words used. Such a wonderful way to describe a pyromaniac's view.

isdrowning i completely understand what you mean, and it's ok. it gives off this troubled kid in a correctional facility vibe. all the bolding makes it nice and dramatic, so people don't see what's written, just a pretty picture. what you paint is obvious and that's what makes your poem good.
