things that need to be said

I know in my heart

I don't want us apart

but theres things that I need to say

so everything we've worked for isn't thrown away.

Don't say "I love you" unless you mean every word

I know what I'm saying seems so absurd

But why say you love me

if your words and your heart don't agree?

Don't lie about something you know isn't true

because I know I could never lie to you.

I'm not saying you would do any of this at  all

but I'm afraid to fall

I dont want to get hurt again

It's just too much pain

I want us to stay

together forever, so please don't take this the wrong way.
