Object Affection
Ordure falls upon your sight
to blind and hide from me
The reason being that I continue to be
Your thorn, your pebble and waste
Life is the paper
You’re the eraser
And I’m the words
Your beauty pains and dissolves
I’m the rock in your way
You’re the mountain of my faith
Ah, you heartless being!
Oh, so now you are an object!
Regret not what I did
but leave to chance what I did not do!
“Don’t dream for change” says you,
As the Queen liberates hope,
“Only action will take you there”
The first one you were
The only one you are
Together you and I
Until death tear us apart
