Cold Winter Plight
And if you drown in the pool
At least you'll stay cool
On a harsh winter's night
You gave it no fight
And it hurts to stay, in the world so long
For those who still pay, they'll never be strong
While we still fight the demons, we'll never be able
To defeat the cold feelings we fight in our hearts
Dashing our hopes out, destroying our dreams
We'll never be able, no we'll never be stable
And it hurts to stay, in the world so long
Because they themselves pay, it ends in a song
So heed by the moonlight, and die by the day
No we'll never be happy, under those shallow rays
For the demon she fights, in a miserable light
No she'll never back down, she causes quite a plight
And because of it all, no we'll never be happy
And just to blame it all, on the cold winters night
There's no lie in the world, that could bring back the light
Now she'll never back down, what a terrible plight
And it hurts to stay, in the world so long
For those who still pay, they'll never be strong.
