Still now, she gives me shivers
Twitching eyes, awkward quivers
The tear on my cheekbone shimmers
Underneath the table, Uneasy tapping fingers
Hand shaking, brushes your thigh
No hesitation, in my eye
As every single day goes by
I'll remain by your side
Tapping my pockets for the ring
Where did I leave that aweful thing
I complain of an itching sting
While she giggles with a grin
Desert dry is my throat
Water sparkles below the boat
Trying to remember the words I wrote
I salvage the ring from my coat
I brought you here this night to say
There really is no other way
I'd love for you to stay
In my life 'til my dying day
A shocked expression in silence
My rebuttal is a grimace
The others look upon us
Her answer a yes
Chocolate candy kisses
Blindfolded kiss misses
Counting both our wishes
All for love, not riches
