Thoughts in my mind |
Youth
I remeber my days as a young child
my mind yet to develop, not knowing anything at all
Unaware of what the world was really like
Oh so innocent, so happy, so free
Days filled with smiles and laughter
Happy go lucky, with not a care in the world
Life was cherished and treasured
So beautiful, so perfect
but I've grown up, I've seen the world's flaws
I've discovered the dark, depressing secrets
I've seen them in my eyes
As I've grown up, the beautiful image in my innocent eyes has faded
Been replaced with a horific image
How I long to go back to the warm, peaceful days as a child
And put my damaged life behind me

This was beautifully done doll. I wish I had been a child to begin with - didn't really have a childhood actually so perhaps I'm not missing as much as you |
