She gazes longingly into his eyes
leaning in to steal a kiss
His dark eyes stare into hers
blank, cold and emotionless
She touches him tenderly
followed by a warm embrace
he mindlessly daydreams
wishing someone else stood in her place
She gives herself whole heartedly
Loyalty, devotion, trust, and love
He fills her world with lies and betrayl
She's no longer the one he is thinking of
Deep down she knows the truth
But her soul refuses to see
He'll never be hers nor in love again
She'll always love him endessly
She lives with her pain and in denial
Her days are long and her nights are cold
The love of her life remains by her side
and until her dying days she'll always be alone
