Willing herself feel again
Trying to force a tear
Trapped in another time frame
Swallowed by her fear
Protecting what remains
of broken and bruised heart,
the silence is so deafening
while she rips herself apart.
Wishing only to rid herself
of the burden that she bears,
cut out the void to just feel whole.
She's fading without a prayer
Cursing at the skies
to the nothingness above.
Standing, dispite her weakness,
vowing she's had enough
Losing herself to forces unknown,
her world is under attack
closing her eyes she falls to the ground
her memories fade to black.
