My heart feeling as if it were going to explode
With every beat, with your every breath
A tidal wave of emotions rushing over me
Pride, fear, love, anxiety
Overwhelmed by this tiny miracle
Every heartache and every void
Vanished in an instant, the moment our eyes met
My gaze locked, engrossed in your every motion
Cherishing every second, Vowing my devotion
Time has run its course
Twas only yesterday that I held you
helpless in my arms
Tis now that I am helpless to you...
