Darkness Somewhere

Night draws around me

I close my eyes

try to remember

the reason i cried

the day went by slow

with troubles and scorn

no one understands me

and my heart as been torn

i look at the ceiling

still awake in my bed

while thoughts of anger

run through my head

it all I can do

to not get up and scream

i faced a had lesson

things arnt how they seem

so i tell all you people

learn a lesson from me

there more in this world

then what you can see

love is a feeling

emotion a trust

sadness a blanket

but its all a must

through good times or bad

the world keeps on turning

though on the inside

my whole life is burning

i dont know where i'm going

when dreaming at night

the upcoming day

is but another new fright

so now i will sleep

with these thoughts in my head

nothing around me

but darkness and dread

though the new day may come

and the light will then shine

i know its dark somewhere

and that world is mine
