You stay up waiting to hear his voice.

Wondering if you would be his first choice.

You think about forever.

And how you want to be together.

Then your world comes crashing down.

For a different love he has found.

He killed a part of your heart.

What he didn't kill he tore apart.

You look in the mirror at the broken girl.

The broken girl with a fucked up world.

You miss how he soothed your fears.

Thinking about him brings forth the tears.

You look at the blade with tear-blurred eyes.

You've done it before but too many failed tries.

This time you know you'll succeed.

For the numbness is all you need.

You lower the blade to your skin.

Leaving proof on the outside of the heartbreak within.

Your blood falls to the pefect blue floor.

Blood red sky against an ocean shore.

You whisper his name again and again.
