Um, I'm not a poet. But I like to write anyway. And have eaten a good amount of skittles, so bit of a sugar rush now.
It begins.
without question.
Through the eyes.
Your heart crawls through.
Claws it's way through the throat.
And throws all thoughts.
In disarray.
A harmonic shamble.
That we all crave.
And fear.
You forget to speak.
But it doesn't matter.
Because there's nothing to say.
That your eyes haven't told.
Screamed all your deepest secrets.
And the end comes to quick.
Because time has been lost.
Again, inside the eyes.
After the end.
The conclusion of eternity.
You close your eyes.
Not sleeping.
Not dreaming.
Not even a fraction of the moment spent in night.
Another embrace.
You wish for.
Waiting.
It will never happen again.

it reminds me of a fling once cherished... i have a poem every part of me i would like ur opinion on if u ever get the chance thanks and ur poetry is a pleasure to read even tho ur "not a poet" keep it up ill certainly read it!!! |
