In Retrospect

This one is a little more vague and random in it's emotional meaning. However, I'm certain that readers will gain something from it. The awesome nature of a poem is that it often goes byond what the poet intended.

In retrospect and conclusion.

We’ve come to an end that reaches,

And takes all that was in context and out of place.

Orders the words and letters into a message,

Sends it backward and forward into paper and lines,

Ink

Pencil

Marker

Crayon

Marked

Lined

Lined up and lining the edges of a whole and edge.

Burning the letter and letters of the word and precipice.

Framing an edge within the sands that mark no end or beginning.

By retrospect and by that conclusion.

We’ve come to nothing and everything.
