I didnt know how to move on
when you said our relationship was through
because everyday i thought of how
how I yearned for you.

I stayed out in the rain
so it would wash away my tears
but you were still in my head
along with the rest of my fears

When you wouldnt talk to me
it felt like my wounds were rubbed with salt
I hated myself for a year
before i realised it wasnt my fault

Another year has passed
with only faded thoughts of you
