'Til Morning's Light
As i look out of my window
and see the blackness of the sky
The streetlight shining bright
the clouds covering the stars like a lie
The cloudy darkness of the night
hiding everything to be seen
no rain is falling tonight
to wash the days dirt clean
No wind is blowing in the trees
No noises in the neighbourhood
Faint noises from the busy streets
A night like this is good
So as i look up out of my window
and see the darkness of the night
i smile and shut the blind
and fall asleep til morning's light
