was the best night of my life
but now that im not with you
it cuts me like a knife

it felt like love at first sight
but i didnt know how you felt
so my feelings i had to fight

then i found out you liked me
one night when i came to see you
i didnt know much about you

and asked if i wanted to go out
so we met up at the station
and went for a walk-about

we started to fall in love
things were going so right
but then my depression got to me
so we started to fight

so we broke up
with me still loving you
just hoping that we would get back together
because i thought you loved me still too
