How I Feel About You

I don't understand why you act the way you do.
I try not to argue but you always think I'm trying to.
We can't even have a decent conversation anymore,
Without you raising your voice for reasons I'm unsure.

I'm sorry that I can't seem to grasp the obvious truth;
That you're in love with me and only want me to be with you.
I can't help that past relationships have made me who I am.
It's not like I want to be untrustful to every man.

Especially not to the one I am so deeply in love with
And if I could fix our problems it would be my only wish.
I swear I couldn't get through a day without seeing you
And if you were to ever leave, I don't know what I'd do.

I know we've both made promises and both have broken some,
And we both forgave each other for the hurtful things we've done.
