I Wish I Could Learn

Sometimes the things you want isn't always what you need.
Some people make promises that they don't intend to keep.
And most people learn these things the hard way
I wish I could learn from other's mistakes
Sometimes people say things that they don't mean.
They'll tell you lies they expect you to believe
And eventually they get to you until you finally break..
I wish I could learn from other's mistakes.
Momma told me I gave my heart away too soon
Of course she was right because she went through it too
I even seen that she went through heartache and pain
I wish I could learn from other's mistakes
Because I hate feeling this lonliness
People told me that it would be like this
I should've listened to what they had to say
