Thank-You

"Do you have any idea what you put me through!"

She screamed at the sky so bright and blue.

She fell to the ground

only to hear a sound.

A man's voice, very clear

suddenly struck the girl with fear.

It said "Do you think you would be strong as you you are now

if not taught life's lessons somehow?"

She sat and thought

only to know she had been caught.

She sat there with a sigh

and then finally made her reply.

She said "I may be strong now, but I'm weak at the heart

after having to keep going back to start;

After watching things fall apart.

Why did I have to do what i did

In many ways I was a helpless kid."

The man's voice came rolling like thunder

One could only stare in wonder.

He said "NEVER!

Never did I leve you alone!

Never are you on your own!

But no, this you refused to see

And at times you abandoned me.

So I did what I could

to get you to believe like you should.

I put the bible by your side

to help you through those nights you cried.

I gave you friends who helped you

when you were stuck on what to do.

Finally with your friends and Bible you began to pray.

Finally in your heart I was able to stay.

So be there as it may

I never went away!"

After sitting and listening to Him all the while

her face first saddened turned into a smile.

She looked up at the sky so bright and blue.

Then said to him "Thank-You!"

She got off the ground and started walking home

realizing how much she has grown.

Happily knowing she's never alone.

Happily feeling her heart being sown.
