They Lost My Trust

My mom lost her job today.

I woke up this morning...now still I lay.

As I heard

every single solitary word.

Mom and dad began to fight.

Everything outta place; just wasn't right.

We all fight; you know say some things,

but how many people would intend to sell thier wedding ring?

To treat such a promise like nothing at all

shows have much my family continues to fall.

I heard dad talk about mom; how she cheated.

From her I feel very concieted.

The continued fighting with each other

as i heard the yelling of my baby brother.

It was if they didn't care.

It was like the children weren't there.

That alone is hard to bare.

You can feel it in your heart; it tears.

Then you got up for school

feeling like this empty fool.

As I heard mom fight and sob

I've decided to go back to refereeing; my old job.

Doing what I must

as my parents obviously were never in love, but lust.

They have simply lost their daughter's trust.
