Pain

Pain is one unpleasent word.

One I wished was never heard.

For it started but a feeling growing inside

and at first was manageable; able to hide.

but the more and more things began to unravel

the feeling iself began to grow and travel.

Soon it becomes ones darkest assailant

as it makes itself prevalent.

One could only wish it stop growing.

One could only hope it isn't showing.

but the more and more things break and bend

pain itself says its the end.

But pain itself is a feeling,

one everyone desires concealing.

One that we must overcome

in hopes of fixing things we've done.

An endless battle for some

as pain effects everyone.
