Broken

To feel broken inside...like you've lost everything

To sit crying in a lonely corner

To lose sight of all you've done and only focus on what's become

To lie in bed with tears in your eyes wishing for confort, but there's none

To write and never be heard

To be forced and never willing to give

To fight away all the pain only to recieve reinforcement to hold you down.

You beg to get up, but you're tied down by your heart.

You can't imagine the pain, the tears, the desire to live a life of freedom.

Yet here I am locked in a door without a key

trapped inside the past and present

crying, begging, pleading, and screaming inside for the need to love and trust again.

My life is fading away into enternal darkness
