As soon as I got off the bus

Mom started making her usual fuss

As soon as I turned around

She was lying on the ground

See my mom and brother got into a fight

He started beating her with all his might

As I heard every scream

My heart began to rip at every seam

So I'd thought I'd take the chance to run away

After all there was nothing left to say

So I walked out the door

My sister begged me to stop, but I coudn't take it anymore

So I started to run

in the ever fading sun

As the clouds went by and by

Many tears fell from my eyes

It began to rain

I already was feeling pain

I walked then ran the whole way back

Hoping it was the end of the attack

That day I'll never soon forget

Because running is something I'll always regret.

rellcinko running seems like an option to us all but in the end for many things we find pain in it and realize it was an option at all
