The Beast From within

To live in a world where pain is all that's felt

is to hide the fighting spirit within yourself

a beast that remains within you

A desire to be free and have no set backs

A will with no destiny, but the one it makes along the way

An anger and frustration that refuses to give in

This is the animal within me

It refuses to let things stay the way they are

Refuses to allow tears to fall for long

Fights back when all hope seems lost

motivated upon the desire to be free

Last night this beast blocked me from being hurt for long

I fought the tears back, the pain as well

as things felt like they were destroying me inside and out

I released the beast from within

In turn today's just another new day

The past is no more!
