I'm on my hands and knees praying,
that the sky wont turn gray,
as I'm laying under the stars tonight,
after a long day,
watching the stars go by before they fade away,
waiting on you to return,
before the sunsets again,
holding on to our dreams within my heart,
knowing you can hear me up above,
all I'm asking for is my long lost love,
fill our relationship with trust like I trust in you,
Let the rain clouds pass and our skies be blue.

"I love you Jesus" for everything you do,
I'm a man of my word just like you,
now it's time I pay my dues,
heres the respect you deserve it's long over do,
I just want to love her, like I love you.

You gave me strength when I was weak,
the power to succeed,
gave me the girl of my dreams,
the only one who can fulfill my inner-needs,
but most of all loves me for me,
not what I have in life,
but what I have inside,
a heart full of memories that make me cry,
shes the reason my faith hasn't died,
even though not being with her I'm dying insde.
